The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervour at KIIT University, Dutee Chand Stadium. Our school had the honour of actively participating in this grand occasion through both the Parade Platoon and a Cultural Show Segment, beautifully portraying the theme “Self-Reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat)”. The performance was highly appreciated by all and became a truly proud moment for our institution.

Adding to this proud occasion, one of our NSS Volunteers, Ms. Sohini Mukharjee, was selected as the NSS Parade Contingent Flag Bearer at KIIT University — a remarkable achievement and a moment of immense pride for our school.

These accomplishments were made possible under the dedicated leadership and initiative of Dr. Smruti Ranjan Das, FIC – Student Affairs, who led and coordinated both the Parade Platoon and Cultural Show Segment. The Cultural Show Segment was meticulously guided and mentored by Dr. Lopamudra Lenka, FIC – Cultural Activities, whose efforts ensured an impactful and graceful presentation.

We gratefully acknowledge & the encouragement of our Dean, Prof. Sukanta Chandra Swain, whose guidance continues to motivate students toward excellence beyond academics.

The celebration was further dignified by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Namal Rajapaksa, Member of Parliament, Leader of SLPP, and Former Cabinet Minister of Youth & Sports, Sri Lanka, along with other Hon’ble Members of Parliament, making the occasion truly memorable.

The occasion was further elevated by the gracious presence of our visionary Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS, Prof. Achyuta Samanta Sir, who, along with the Hon’ble Chief Guest and distinguished dignitaries, graced the celebration and inspired all present with his unwavering commitment to nation-building through education, youth empowerment, and social transformation. His presence added immense dignity and significance to the Republic Day समारोह.

A proud day, a proud moment, and a proud achievement for our school!
