Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Hons. in Economics

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics / Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.
  • Should have born on or after 01.07.1999.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The programme’s teaching methodology and approach are designed to leverage technology and maximize interaction seamlessly and simultaneously. The programme follows a pedagogy that is a blend of Lectures, Case Studies, Lecture-discussions, Behavioural and Computer-based Simulations, Projects, Assignments, Class Presentations, Quizzes etc.

Program Outcomes (POs)

The focus being to prepare students’ as future-ready i.e., to become entrepreneurs, economic analysts or junior level executives in the private and public sector industries or pursue higher education, by equipping students with a holistic view of the economic environment and its operations. The thrust of the programme is on personality development of the students by helping them acquire conceptual, analytical, problem-solving capabilities and emotional maturity. The innovative curriculum and proven pedagogy will equip participants with actionable knowledge and skills along with deep insights into leadership and strategy.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Hons. in Economics & Data Analytics

Overview

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Programme offered by Department of Economics; School of Economics & Commerce, KIIT Deemed to be University is a 4 years Undergraduate Programme in Economics & Data Analytics. B.Sc. in Economics and Data Analytics program combines the rigor of economic theory with the power of data analytics to equip students with a unique skill set. This unique interdisciplinary program provides a comprehensive understanding of economic principles, data analysis, and data visualization techniques, enabling students to analyse complex economic issues, inform policy decisions, and drive business strategy. It will enable the learners better to understand the real-world applicability of economics with the help applied data analytics tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aggregate of 50% marks at the Intermediate/Higher-Secondary (10+2) level from any recognized board in India

  • Mandatory to have studied Basic Mathematics at the Intermediate/Higher-Secondary (10+2) level

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Science having basic skills in Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
