Dr. Praveen Kumar Mohanty

Dr. Praveen brings over three decades of experience across financial markets, policy, and academia. He has worked with ICICI Bank, Srei Infrastructure Finance, Edelweiss Finance, and Aptivaa Consulting, specialising in risk management, structured and infrastructure finance, and strategic advisory. He was among the early practitioners in India to develop quantitative credit risk frameworks and contributed to the evolution of the securitization market and its regulation.

He spent eight years at KIIT School of Management, teaching MBA and executive programmes and contributing to curriculum, research mentoring, and academic leadership. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and a master’s from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
