Soma Parija

Biography and academic profile

Dr. Soma Parija is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social, Financial and Human Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. She has pursued her PhD in Psychology from the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management at IIT, Bhubaneswar, and MPhil degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from the Centre of Advanced Study, Utkal University. She has been awarded Gold Medal in MA, Psychology (Utkal University). She was the topper of MPhil and BA, Psychology (Utkal University). Before joining KIIT, she worked as a counselling psychologist at SAI International Educational Institution. She has five years of counseling experience in mental health institutions, Government hospitals, and non-government organizations. She has several national and international conferences and journal publications to her credit. Her research interests are in the field of counselling psychology, clinical psychology and cyber psychology.
