We are thrilled to share that the first day of the Physical Fitness Assessment for Youth was conducted successfully today with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was graced by the presence of our Dean, Dr. Sukanta Chandra Swain, Dr. Saswat Kishore Mishra Associate Dean,NSS Liaison Officer, Dr. Smruti Ranjan Das, Dr Manas Kumar Pedi PO, KSEC whose support and encouragement added immense value to the program.
As part of the initiative, several key fitness tests were conducted to assess the physical well-being of our volunteers, including:
-Weight & Height Measurement – Understanding BMI and overall health status
-Pulse Rate Check – Evaluating cardiovascular endurance
-Grip Strength Test – Measuring upper body strength
-Push-ups & Curl-ups – Testing muscular strength and endurance
-Static Balance Test – Assessing core stability and balance
The response was overwhelming, with over 100 NSS volunteers actively participating, demonstrating their commitment to fitness and well-being. The session was not just about assessment but also about spreading awareness of the importance of physical fitness in our daily lives.
